VISA FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Are you consultants, agents or lawyers?

A: We are most certainly not agents and we take great exception to ever being treated as such. Agents take a large amount of money from vulnerable clients to transport them to another country illegally. Every thing that we do is legal and above board and we actively encourage only the genuine client’s to instruct us.

We are in fact operating as immigration law practitioners. Our CEO, Mr Masood Butt has lived in UK for 20 years. He is a British Citizen and still carries significant British connections. He has substantial training by the Joint Council of Welfare of Immigrants and is trained to the level 1 and 2 of the office of the Immigration Services Commissioners standard in UK and Pakistan

Q: What visas and countries do you deal with?

A: We deal solely with visa applications for the United Kingdom and appeals against refusal of such visa applications. We may however argue cases on Human Rights and EEC Law in addition to UK Immigrations Law. Whilst we can deal with every type of visa, we mostly deal with visit visas (family and non Family), student visas, GSMP visas, settlement visas (including husbands, wives, children, parents and other dependent relatives), and Investment Trade Visa.

Q: Why should we instruct you on our application or appeal?

A: We consider ourselves to be the foremost authority on UK Immigration Law & Practice in Pakistan. You can there fore be assured of truly expert advise and representation. You can also count on 100 % honesty in any advice we give you.

We appreciate the value to you of every hard earned rupee and we will do our utmost to ensure that you do not waste a single rupee if this can be avoided. We will waste no time in advising you if you have no chance of success. You should remember that the most important commodity to us is time and we do not wish to waste our time on a case we think we probably shall not win. Notwithstanding the initial deposit you may have paid us, if we do not succeed, we will lose out financially more than to you.

You can place trust in us. This is really said but we realize it has to be earned. That is why most of our client’s today come through referral from existing clients because they knew they were able to trust us. Unfortunately this cannot be said to be the same for all immigration consultants. We actively encourage potential clients not to simply take our words for it but to ask us to provide you satisfaction.

You do not have to instruct us. We understand that not every one can afford our fee and if you are unable to do so. We can put into contact where you may be able to have your work carried out at a reduced fee.

Q: Do you charge for an initial consultation?

A: You may make an appointment at any suitable time to discuss your case subject to time constraints. You will be charged a nominal consultation fee unless the consultation is personally with Mr Masood Butt where the consultation fee is higher but still reasonable.

Q: What if there are more than one of us applying or appealing?

A: Provided you are related by blood and all going for the same purpose, we charge a small additional amount.

Q: Do you fees include British High Commission application fees?

A: No. Please don’t confuse us with the agents.

Q: Why are your fees as high as they are?

A: Comparatively our fees are not that high. What you must realise is that you are getting the same advise and representation afforded to client’s in the UK where we were used to charging the equivalent of Rs 30,000/- per hour.

We have set our fee at such an amount to be able to provide the best possible service without compromise whatsoever on the delivery of that service, whether that be of infrastructure, time management or personnel. This requires us to have modern well equipped offices so that we can undertake your work effectively. We choose to pay our staff above average salaries to encourage the best possible candidates and to ensure as far as possible a low turnaround of employees to achieve maximum continuity on your work.

We limit the number of cases that we take on each month to ensure that we are able to devote the time necessary for every one our clients the fee can be reduced if paid on a fixed fee bases which will be non refundable.

Q: Are our fees negotiable?

A: Exception in very exceptional cases, we will not change our fee. This is necessary in order to maintain the high level of service our client’s can except and because we consider it to be unfair to charge different amounts to different clients for the same work. Every one of our client holds the same importance to us and will be given equal amount of respect, time and attention. We do not accept bribes, incentives or recommendations and any staff member found accepting the same will be dismissed and any client attempting to do so will have their instructions terminated.

Q: Do you provide any other help or service?

A: Yes, we can amongst other things help you with admissions at schools, universities or colleges in the UK, provided advise on the UK, assist you in booking hotels, help arrange medical consultations etc.

Q: Can we guarantee that you will be issued a visa?

A: Quite simply no! There can never be a guarantee as the final decision whether on application or appeal is being made by a third party on whom we can not place absolute trust. In most cases however through our experience and expertise we can predict the right result. Rest assured however, that if we are left in any doubt either at the beginning or during the course of your instructions as to the final result, we shall let you know.

Q: What documents will I require?

A: Inexperienced or unqualified agent is used to giving every client the same list of documents to bring him. It is not right however to do so. Every client and his circumstances will be different and the documents required will depend on the individual circumstances of that client. It is not always necessary to have bank statement or bank accounts with large deposits or even tax documents.

Q: Will you prepare the documents I require?

A: In most cases no. However the documents we may often ask you to produce will not normally be difficult for you to prepare or obtain. In certain cases we may provide you with a draft of what we may require such as a work reference but it will be for you to obtain this. We will however arrange ourselves to get documents translated into English or certified to be true copies of the original.

Q: How long is the process?

A: Application and appeal times may vary and are subject to how busy the British High Commission will be. In general however an application for a visit visa or student visa will take between 2 to 4 weeks for a decision. An appeal will take between 4 to 6 months. After a successful appeal, a visa will usually be issued within 2 to 3 months.

Q: What if I am not satisfied with the level of service I have received?

A: We encourage our clients to let us know if they have any complaints about the services they received and every such complaint will be taken seriously and thoroughly investigated and redressed in the best possible way.

Q: How can you help with my English?

A: We offer you one and Group Session in ILETS and specking English with confidence. All our trainers are from England and we use Brain Base Learning Techniques to help you speak English in 10 days.
